Delicious breakfast with homemade pastries was delightful.
While our stay was enjoyable, we encountered some issues. The lack of a wardrobe made organizing our clothes a bit challenging. although advertised as dog friendly, we found very few accommodations for our pet. Expecting pet-friendly amenities like water bowls, we were disappointed when they were missing. Lastly, walking into Ballater wasn’t feasible during winter, limiting our dining options.

Lovely stay with fascinating tales
The hosts made us feel at home, sharing stories about the local area while serving a delicious breakfast with lovely mountain views. The cheerful atmosphere truly enhanced our stay.
While we wished for a small fridge to keep our drinks cold, it didn't detract significantly from our enjoyable experience.

Couples looking for charm
We enjoyed the lovely hot breakfast, served right on time! The owner shared amazing stories about the Royal family that we would never have heard anywhere else.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but for the experience, it's acceptable.

Cute spot with friendly vibes!
Such a lovely little place! The owner was super chill and told us fun stories about the area. We really enjoyed the fresh breakfast—gotta love those homemade pastries! One of our rooms was a bit small, but cozy enough. The shower was a lifesaver after hiking all day! Can't forget to mention all the rabbits outside!

The mountain view from the room provided a serene backdrop, perfect for unwinding. While the accommodation was dog tolerant, the absence of facilities such as water bowls made it less accommodating for pets. Although we faced a challenge finding safe walks into town for dinner during winter, the proximity to picturesque landscapes compensated for the minor inconveniences.
